![]() Dan Lemeaux from team SMART, Spruce Mt HS, in Jay drove up Tuesday evening to host CAD training for our team. Dan's instruction built a good foundation in CAD for the team. CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) will be a great addition to the teams tool box of skills and a skill every engineer and technical person will utilize in their career. When the oncoming build season is here, our schedule is going to be much more hectic. With the coming changes such as new challenge, there will also be a hectic schedule. While subject to change, our proposed meeting times are Tuesday and Thursday, from 6pm-9pm as well as Sunday from 10am-2pm.
The 2014 FIRST Robotics challenge will be announced Globally on January 4th.
The team will go to U Southern Maine in Portland for the announcement and to get our Kit Of Parts. Build season will be here before we know it!!! Messalonskee high school will host FIRST robotics training again this year on December 7th. The team will participate, probably bring our pneumatics training assembly and conduct training for all the teams.
Hopefully the new team from Old Town can travel with us. Great opportunity to meet the team and shar storie |
